TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE REORGANIZATION MEETING NOTICE
PLEASE BE ADVISED in compliance with the provisions of the “Open Public Meetings Act” of the State of New Jersey, N.J.S.A. 10:4 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 40:45A-1, the Township Committee of Colts Neck Township, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, advises that the 2022 Annual Reorganization Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., Colts Neck Inn, 191 County Road 537, Colts Neck, NJ 07722.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Governing Body of a municipality in which any of the members of the Governing Body are elected for terms commencing January 1st must fix the date and time of its annual organization or reorganization meeting to be held during the first week in January. Therefore, the purpose of this meeting is to conduct the business of reorganizing the municipal government of Colts Neck Township for 2022. The agenda items may include but are not limited to: Administering the Oath of Office, election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor, Remarks by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, Appointment of members to various Boards, Committees and Commissions, Public Comment, Approval of Resolutions, formal action shall be taken. The Governing Body reserves the right to enter closed executive session, per N.J.S.A. 10:4-12. The agenda will be published on the official Colts Neck Township website (www.coltsneck.org).
