As you know, the Township is introducing fully automated recycling collection beginning January 1, 2023.  As part of this program, each household is being provided with one (1) green, 96-gallon, wheeled recycling cart for use in collecting and placing recyclables at the curb.  The recycling contractor, Republic Services, with the assistance of the Department of Public Works, will be delivering your cart beginning next week, the week of December 12, 2022.  The cart will be placed at the curb of your home near your driveway.  Included with your cart will be instructions for the care of the cart and details regarding acceptable recyclables.  Please review this information carefully and contact the Township with any questions or concerns.  The Township is excited to bring this advance collection service to the Colts Neck community and are confident this safer, cleaner, and more efficient approach to recycling collection will be significant improvement.
