Zoning Review
A zoning review is required for projects such as Additions, Pools, Basements, Generators, Cabanas, Accessory structures, Decks, Fences, Sheds. A zoning review requires the application, a $50 zoning review fee, and a scaled survey showing the location of the project.
Smoke Detector Inspection Forms
Smoke Detector Inspection Application – Prep form
A Fire Safety inspection is required for Residential Sales and Rentals. The application requires that you read and understand the Prep form. Fees are payable to Colts Neck Township. Please call (732) 409-7134 for fee amount which is based on square footage of home. Inspection will be scheduled once application and fee are received.
Health Bedroom
Required to attain Health approval for residential additions and full interior renovations. Addition of bedrooms determine septic system requirements.
Health Water Well & Septic System
Homeowner or contractor sign the form to verify well and septic locations on a survey submitted with permit application.
Certificate of Continued Occupancy (CCO)
A CCO is required for all Residential Rentals and all Commercial Sales/Rentals. There is NO CCO requirement on Residential Sales. Please see links below for instructions and forms.
